### Wat is MariControl?

MariControl is een maritiem datatechnologiebedrijf, opgericht door DBMatic en Weforsea Shipping. DBMatic, onderdeel van De Boer Marine, brengt ervaring in hardware en data-infrastructuur aan boord. Weforsea Shipping voegt software en kennis van maritieme digitalisering toe.

MariControl combineert dataverzameling, hardware aan boord, connectiviteit, software en AI-gedreven analyse in één omgeving. Daarin kan scheepsdata worden verzameld, geïnterpreteerd en gebruikt voor betere operationele beslissingen aan boord en aan wal.

### Platform en datastroom

MariControl kiest voor een integrale benadering: van sensoren en data-infrastructuur aan boord tot dashboards aan wal en op het schip.

- De Gateway aan boord leest ondersteunde maritieme databronnen en parseert ze lokaal.
- Wanneer de verbinding wegvalt, blijven events lokaal gebufferd en worden ze later verzonden.
- Genormaliseerde scheepsdata blijft langdurig beschikbaar voor actuele diagnose, analyse, audit, probleemonderzoek en export.
- Gatewaybeheer ondersteunt begeleide registratie en herbruikbare scheepsconfiguraties.
- Dezelfde genormaliseerde datastroom voedt scheepsbeelden, reizen, logboeken, rapportage en eigen systemen.
- Koppelingen en exports zijn mogelijk via REST API, webhook, CSV en Parquet.
- Organisaties kunnen kiezen voor een eigen tenant binnen MariControl of een dedicated self-hosted cluster onder hun eigen infrastructuurbeleid.

MariControl is a maritime data technology company created by DBMatic and Weforsea Shipping. DBMatic, part of De Boer Marine, brings experience in onboard hardware and data infrastructure. Weforsea Shipping adds software and maritime digitalisation expertise.

MariControl combines data collection, onboard hardware, connectivity, software and AI-driven analysis in one environment. Vessel data can be collected, interpreted and used to support better operational decisions on board and ashore.

### Who is it for?

MariControl serves shipowners, skippers and fleet managers in:

- international merchant shipping;
- offshore and work vessels;
- inland shipping;
- commercial fishing.

### Why?

### Platform and data flow

MariControl takes an integrated approach, from onboard sensors and data infrastructure to dashboards ashore and on the vessel.

- The onboard Gateway reads supported maritime data sources and parses them locally.
- If the connection drops, events remain buffered locally and are delivered later.
- Normalised vessel data remains available long-term for current diagnostics, analysis, audit, investigation and export.
- Gateway management supports guided registration and reusable vessel configurations.
- The same normalised data stream powers vessel views, journeys, logbooks, reporting and connected systems.
- Connections and exports are available through REST API, webhook, CSV and Parquet.
- Organisations can choose a private MariControl tenant or a dedicated self-hosted cluster under their own infrastructure policy.

Technology from DBMatic, Weforsea Shipping or both is installed on many hundreds of ships today. The UK-225 _Auke Senior_ is the website's worked example of DBMatic hardware and sensors combined with Weforsea Shipping dashboards.
